Brett Skean is an Associate Attorney at Illinois Advocates, LLC. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and a Minor in Religious Studies. He attended Northern Illinois University College of Law, where he was an Assistant Editor on the Law Review, and received his Juris Doctorate in 2003.

Prior to joining Illinois Advocates, Brett was an insurance defense attorney and is well versed in general civil litigation. He has practiced in broad spectrum of legal matters, ranging from construction negligence, medical device liability and medical malpractice, toxic tort, product liability, employment discrimination and personal injury.

Brett is admitted to the Illinois Bar and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. His dedication and knowledge for the law coupled with his calm and caring personality make him well suited to represent clients when they need it most. Brett focuses his practice on Workers' Compensation / Personal Injury, Consumer Law / Real Estate and Labor & Employment.
