Cara M. Anthaney is a Senior Associate at Illinois Advocates, LLC. The focus of Cara's practice is in civil litigation, specifically ERISA litigation and collections. Cara is also experienced in commercial and consumer litigation, landlord/tenant law and real estate transactions. She counsels labor organizations and individuals in various legal matters.

Cara is a member of the Illinois Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Bar. In December 2010, she received her Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in both Spanish and History from New York University in 2007.

During law school, Cara served as judicial clerk to Honorable Ann Collins-Dole in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Domestic Violence Court. In addition, Cara volunteers for First Defense Legal Aide.
