Nancy Horodecki is lifelong Chicagoan and graduated from Roosevelt University in Chicago, earning her Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications.   In order to serve the needs of working families, Nancy went to law school at night while working full-time as a Cook County Adult Probation Officer.  

Nancy is experienced in all aspects of union-side labor law.  She spent more than six years representing union members as a staff attorney for public employee unions before joining Illinois Advocates.  In that time, she handled a heavy volume of arbitrations and labor negotiations.  Additionally, Nancy is experienced in union administration and the complexity facing labor leaders at all levels.  She continues her fight for unions and union members in her role at Illinois Advocates.
